anal feelings

okay, so my boyfriend & i have always been opposed to anal & eating butt (no other way for me to say it, lol! but lately he has sorta been acting like he wants to do it. i have never liked the thought of it, & he said he hasn’t either. now he’s asking if i would think he’s weird for wanting to. can someone please explain how BOTH of these feel ? pleasure ? pain ? please explain. thank you :)
