Will birth control mess with my anxiety?

Hi, so I suffer from anxiety/panic attacks quite frequently and I heard that birth control can actually make it worse. I have GAD and I want to know if anyone else here is on the pill and has Generalized Anxiety Disorder or anxiety in general and how they have reacted to the pill

Talk to your doctor. My daughter has anxiety and the doctor did research to find pills least likely to exacerbate her anxiety. They have to be told.

Everyone is different so it’s hard to say. People respond differently to different methods. The mini pill gave me anxiety and I hated it. So I stopped it.

Mine stayed about the same when I went on the pill. Definitely ask your doctor though! It's different for everybody.
