Can you ever forgive a cheater?

I think it's one of those things where obviously everyone says they wouldn't stay but until you're in that position you don't know how you'll react. I always said if o was cheated on, I'd leave.  Just over 3 years ago I found out my husband was having an affair and it broke me. We split for a while and went through the right avenues, counselling, living apart etc. Turns out now our relationship is better than ever. We started from the beginning, we dated for a while and then moved back in with each other, I've forgiven him and don't think about what he did anymore, it's possible to forgive and forget, it comes with time and I found the best way after a while is to not constantly throw it in his face. When I'd feel down, we'd sit and talk for hours rather than me turn nasty

I personally just can’t get past cheating. I tried staying with a cheater & he tried doing everything in his power to win back my trust but he never could I always thought the worst of him & became so insecure towards him. Cheating just ruins the foundation you build a relationship on which is trust.

I would move past it, but would neither forgive them, nor forget what they did. 
I would end the relationship as cheating is something that I wouldn’t forgive, and is the ultimate dealbreaker for me.

If I thought for one moment my partner cheated.. I would pack all of his stuff and ask him to leave.. he doesn’t love me if he cheated.. and I wouldn’t trust on him.. no matter how hard I would try.

I always said that cheating is the deal breaker for me. I always told him that no matter how much i love him, if he cheats he will never see my face again. 
He cheated. Multiple times. 
I was always the one begging him not to leave me when i found out. 
It’s hard to say until you’re in that position.

My mother Is a chronic cheater. My dad tried to forgive and forget and it did nothing but bite him in the qss. Finally he divorced her after 27 years of marriage. So to me. Fuck no. Once a cheater always a cheater.

my husband made a mistake and he was genuinely guilty. never slept with her but he verbally cheated. if we didn’t have a child together i would have left, but personally i feel like if it wasn’t an emotional affair and it was a human one time mistake, things can work out. with lots of time and open honesty. if it happens more than once then i would remove my child and myself from the situation
