Piggyback off the Trump or Bernie poll, do you guys feel like most people are against Bernie because they don't understand that Democratic socialism is different than socialism?

I feel like when people hear or read about Bernie they automatically are against him because they focus so much on "socialist".

I also feel like most don't realize how greatly we in the US benefit from our socialist systems, that or they aren't aware that they are in fact socialist ideas.

Examples:

Guaranteed public education

Public transportation

Fire departments

Police departments

Public libraries

Every branch of the US military

Roads & highways

Social Security

Medicare/medicaid

Public, not private prisons & jails

Public hospitals

The Veterans Affairs Administration

Public universities

Public parks

Public toilets

Public drinking fountains

Public parking

Public everything
