Is this mucous and is it ok?

Baby is 9 weeks old and exclusively on breastmilk. She has this stool this morning and has been spitting up more than normal. The spit up looks and feels like water. Thanks for any help!

I always thought the stringy was mucus. My baby had poops that looked like this... eventually her poop turned green with mucus and some blood flecks in it. I cut out dairy and soy and the blood has stopped. Poops are now more of a mustard yellow/sometimes brownish in color. 👍🏻

Mucus is completely normal in ebf poop.

If baby is drooling a lot or has more saliva than normal, you are going to get this stringy poop sometimes. It is mucous, but it’s okay unless you notice blood or it changes color pretty dramatically.

If it were real mucus poop it would be more slimy and less seedy. This is normal uf breastfed..n9w if yiu baby has fever thats another story

My breastfed baby has the same looking poop, sometimes green too. The spit up is usually milky though.
