Methotrexate???
Ladies I need your feedback and experiences and outcomes from having gotten Methotrexate!!!!
So going to ask questions first:
1. Did you have any side effects from it.
How bad were the cramps, pain, bleeding?
2. Did it work for you? How long it all take?
3. How long did it take for your Hcg levels to go down?
4. How long did it take your cycle to come back?
5. How long did you wait to start TTC?
6. Did you have to take Folic Acid during or after?
I think that’s all the questions lol I’m so scattered brain right now.
My story:
I’m 37 was told my whole life I was never going to become a mom 😢. So I just accepted it and moved on.
Fast forward on Friday February 8th took a HTP just because I was kinda feeling off, I assumed it would be negative as like I mentioned above. My boyfriend said to take one anyway and well holy cow POSITIVE!! 😳😳
Went to the walk in clinic had blood work done waited until Monday February 11th for results and well that was positive. Had more done that day to see if levels were rising which they were. 😊😊. I couldn’t believe it!!! I’m going to be a mom 🤰
Well fast forward a bit started spotting only when I went to the bathroom, started getting cramps but nothing more then period cramps, went to the doctor on Wednesday February 13th according to him levels were still good still going up and he said as long as the bleeding and cramps weren’t more severe then period cramps not to worry “it’s normal”. 🤨🤨🤨
Had a scheduled ultrasound yesterday Tuesday February 19th and well nothing 😔😔😔. Was told to go to emergency????
So official went on my way, only to find out I have an ectopic 😢😢😢. I wanted to die!!!
Anyway had 2 shots, one in each thigh mussel. ( had 2 due to my height and weight). I have to go back on Friday February 22nd for the other shots. Then I have a follow up appointment a week after.
I’m so unbelievably exhausted and in shock and just so many emotions 😔😳😡😤😢.
Just looking for some of your experiences and insight on this.
Thanks so much for reading & baby dust to you all 🤰🤱
