Velamentous Cord Insertion

Hello! I found out at 18 weeks that I have a huge placenta, it’s bi-lobed, and the umbilical cord is a velamentous cord insertion. I’m now 26 weeks. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with this before? The doctors are not giving a lot of information and no other ultrasounds or anything is going to be scheduled. Just wondering if anyone else’s doctors have done things differently with this sort of thing. I have read a lot about it and I know it can be dangerous.
