Who is going to try labor without the epidural?

This is my 4th, and I want to do it without just to say I could!! 👊

100% epidural, just like with my first two kids. Why feel excruciating pain if I don’t need to?

No thanks. Was au’natural wish my first, epi with my 2nd/3rd. Will happily take another epi with this one.

Oh hell no!!!😳This will be #4 for me(10/21/19) but I remember when I was in labor with my first I signed the paperwork to have the epidural and they never came..It been sixteen years and I’m still waiting!!! Since then I’ve had 2 c-section which wasn’t too bad.. But that natural labor pain is no damn joke and I don’t wish that pain on anyone... so umm yea!!! I’ll be getting that epidural, perks, oxy, whatever cause I don’t want feel a damn thing!!!✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

By the time I got to the hospital it was too late for an epidural with my first. You feel like you are having a seizure with every contraction but the pain wasn't that bad. Mine went really fast too so not sure I could be in active labor for hours on end either.

I had an epidural with my first but I got it so late into labor that I had hours after birth still waiting for it to wear off. I couldn’t stand it. I had to wait for my husband or doctors to do anything, I was panicking. This time I’m either going to get it early or not at all. Which hopefully, just not at all. I heard the recovery after is so much easier because you can actually get up and walk, do things at your pace, etc. we’ll see how it goes tho.

Hell  no. If there’s a sliver of a chance that something can cease some of the pain I’m going to take it. I had the epidural with all 3 of my other babies the first two were great but the 3rd didn’t even work. I waited until I was 7 cm to get it so idk if that played a role in this at all, but It only took to one side and then it gradually went away. I began vomiting bc the pain was so bad. Then it was time to push. There wasn’t really enough time to figure out what was going on and why the epidural wasn’t working. This time I will deff try to get the epidural Sooner.

No pain medication with my first, and I made it through. We did hypnobirthing, but I don't think it helped a ton.

With my son I thought I'd see how things go, but the pain was so bad and it took so long before I started dilating at all and could even get an epidural, I had to get one when I finally got far enough along. If it was a quicker labour this time, I might try, it's so hard when you're in pain for so long and not making progress though.
