How do you stay motivated?

2nd month off birth control and 1st month actively trying and AF came 5 days early. I hear that it’s not easy to get pregnant but for some reason I thought we’d get it right away.

Everyone around me is getting pregnant without evening trying and I even know a few people who got an abortion (which I support them because it’s their choice) but it’s just not fair.

My husband and I have been married for 6 months and together for 10 years (high school sweethearts I’m 23 and he’s 26). It’s hard because he wants this so bad and I cant help but feel it is my fault I did not get pregnant this month. His cousin just announced they are expecting a child (they are married but have only been together 2 years and were not trying) and it kind of seems like a stab in the gut because they are younger than my husband by about a year.

What do you ladies do to keep motivated when AF comes??

I’ve been trying to conceive for about 9 months now. Up until the last few months I became overly obsessive about it. But here lately I’ve been trying to stay off the “community” section of the app. It consumed my life and made me super depressed seeing all the positive tests and baby announcements. I also focus on other things. I’ve recently taken up yoga and it has seriously helped relieve a lot of stress which is good when ttc. And I’ve been exercising more and focusing on a better diet, also positives for ttc. Just know it’s normal for healthy couples to take up to a year to conceive. I always heard this but just went to the doctor the other day and she said the same thing. It made me feel better hearing it from a professional and not google lol. Good luck and baby dust to you!
