I had my daughter via c section Saturday night at 38+3. I want to breast feed so bad but she has so much trouble latching. No ties or anything like that. She simply prefers the bottle over the nipple. Since I was in the hospital I made the choice to start supplementing with formula while I had a few days to heal. Now that I’m home, I’m pumping and I just don’t know what to do. Do I just pump and give her breast milk until it’s all gone? I know if she doesn’t latch my milk won’t last as long from just pumping. She likes both so I’m not sure if I give her breast milk during the day, formula at night to help her sleep better or will that mess her belly up? I for one find it extremely hard to get up and pump at night that’s why. I just need advice!!
