Too early to tell. The whole heart rate is related to gender thing is fun to talk about but has no true accurecy. I am an ultrasound tech and we don't usually look at the gender until after 16 weeks. The genitalia will be formed by 12 weeks, but can be difficult to see that early which can lead to mistakes when calling the gender of a baby. Lately I have been hearing many patients say they are having bloodwork done at the doctor's office in the 1st trimester, and that they can test the DNA of the baby and to tell you the gender. So far all the results from those tests have been accurate. I havent found any babies that were a different gender than expected.
