Baby moves around a lot in his bassinet

My baby is 6 days old and I think he is very strong...when we put him in the bassinet, he moves all around and seems to get close to one side / wall (which is mesh), but he also squirms and sometimes it looks like he ends up on his side. I am terrified that he is going to flip over :( the bassinet is still so big I don’t know what to do. I got the okay from the pediatrician today to have him sleep in his rock and play as he is always cozy in there and sleeps like a champ. I know that there are a lot of opinions out there about all of this but I’m just really scared to have him in the bassinet since he’s so small :( I also don’t sleep well with him sleeping anywhere regardless unless someone is watching him, I know I have to get over that
