Is there ever really a good time in life to try to get pregnant?

Is anyone truly ever ready to have a child? Please tell me your stories on your TTC journeys (:

There's never really a good time to have a baby, we had ours at crazy times in our lives, but we made it work.  In a way it's kind of easier when it just happens, because if you wait for the perfect time, it may never come.

I think you may think you’re ready. I was convinced I was soooooooo ready to have a baby and then I had my daughter and realized you are never truly prepared to have a child. But it’s the most amazing thing in the world. She is the best part of my life and sooooooo worth all of the stress and hard days.

I've always wanted to be a mum, I grew up in a big family and helped raise my brothers and sisters. When I met my husband at 18, we knew we wanted children. He had two that had passed away and was keen for me to stop birth control and we started ttc. Any time for me is the best time to have a child, I'm 26 next week and have still never been pregnant. Every year that passes without a child in it breaks my heart, we've tried everything we can including surgery and yet nothing. I'm married, I have a lovely home, a very good job, vehicles, a painful want to be a mother... yet I can't.. I'll always be ready for something I can't have.

Yes I believe there is a right time. I definitely wanted to be married, well traveled, have some experiences under my belt and financially stable. If I didn’t ever reach those things I would not have tried for a child. Being a good well prepared mother was always more important to me than just being a mother.

when your ready to put everything else aside to raise a child. 
for myself I knew I was ready when: I was in a loving, safe, trusting relationship, we got married, we owned a home, we where comfortable with the jobs we had and we talked about the roles, rules, values we would take on to have a child.

I waited til I was financially stable, in a stable relationship, with great insurance, etc.
