There are some young girls on this page so I say this in the kindest way but no. Starvation is stupid. Eating Whole Foods in good portions is the best way to go. Eat lean meats (Turkey, chicken, fish), veggies, nuts, seeds, beans, etc. Avoid anything with added sugars (salad dressings, cereals, processed foods). You don’t have to starve yourself. Just eat good food! Just for example.. an apple has 90 calories on average. It keeps you pretty full. So you can eat that or you can have three sips of soda. You just have to think about how to eat smart and use your calories for healthy, filling foods and not junk. Another example, you can eat 15 carrots for 100 calories (which again is a lot and makes you feel pretty full) or you can have two Oreos. Which will fill you up? Which is healthier? Exactly! If you are eating the right food, you don’t have to starve yourself.

Starvation is not a diet!! Nor will it end up working!! By starving yourself, when you do end up eating even a little bit your body stores the fat from that food because it’s not getting enough food/nutrients. Eat small healthy snacks throughout the day not one big meal.
