I’m black and bf is white. I was with a “friend” recently and she said “wouldn’t it be funny if you had mixed kids and they still came out with your hair haha”

I snapped at her (she’s white) for implying that my hair as a black person is unwanted and not as good as my bf’s European hair.

I don’t care what kind of hair my kids get! Honestly, I would love it if I had a daughter with my thick hair. Because she would look like ME. I feel like so many people have mixed kids with POC and secretly wish they don’t come out with prominent ethic features (darker skin, thick hair, etc) and that’s disgusting. She often dates black men and it scares me that she could one day be raising biracial children with this mindset.

Guess I just wanted to rant but yeah lol
