I’ve posted on here before about a guy I’ve been friends with for 5+ years. We went out once months ago but he said then he didn’t want another relationship. We still talk, he always turns it flirty and wants to hook up. I told him recently I couldn’t because I don’t wanna get hurt if he changes his mind and wants someone else instead and he didn’t answer. Fast forward to today, he texted me out of nowhere and the convo of course turned flirty. He went on about whether he wants a relationship or not, you never know what’ll happen or how things will turn out. This is true, but he knows I have feelings for him so wouldn’t it be dumb and risky to put myself on the line only starting out as a hookup??

I just texted him back again, not sure if he’ll answer. But I keep trying to let him go and he keeps coming back😥this is like the third time I think he’s probably never gonna talk to me again and this will all be over, yet he comes back.
