Bad results with hairdye?

Question

Has anyone dyed their hair and had really bad results? I'm thinking about covering my roots, but I'm worried that I won't get the colour I desire.

No I've read that a bunch but never heard of it actually happening. I've done mine a couple times and came out perfectly.

I have colored my hair 3 times so far with no bad reactions. I use salon color but I do it myself. Good luck!

Yes!!! I used Loreal "Exact presition" something something. It had to do with the "pretreat" it has you put on your hair on certain parts you feel you need color enhanced....I don't remember the exact language they use on the box for it. Anyway the color totally clung to these pretreated areas and it made my hair look burnt and it wouldn't rinse out therefore making it stiff and dried out. I love Loreal products otherwise except that one. I attempted to use a color stripper and recolor it and it corrected it okay but I had to use deep conditioner for awhile to help the damage.

I was going for rose gold and mostly got copper but I'm not sure that was pregnancy. My stylist said that color comes out different on everyone and she'll just tweak the formula next time.
