Missed period on sprintec?

Okay I just need some reassurance but it’s my first month on sprintec and I’m 4 days late and did anyone else miss a period on their first month and I didn’t have unprotected sex till after a week and half on starting the pills

I was on Sprintec for a little less then a year about 11 months and it missed my period up big time. First month on it, I started having my periods for two weeks and that wasn’t normal. (I got on it, so I didn’t get pregnant) Every month would come, I would have it for two week, and I also gained like 20 pounds. When I had been the same weight for a couple years. Well, I got fed up with it and finally got put on one that is perfect for me. But Sprintec is different for everyone, my sister is on it and likes it. I think her period was a bit late when she first started it.

Yes, it’s normal. 1. It can take 3-6 months for ur body to adjust to being on (or off) birth control, so irregularities are normal during that time. 2. Ur withdrawal bleed/“period” can come at anytime during the placebo week, from the first day to the last day. And 3. One of the ways hormonal birth control works is by thinning the uterine lining, which can sometimes result in little to no bleeding.
