Cold sore help 😰

Just as I was walking out of the front door today I noticed that “tingle” on my lip and immediately put on some Zovirax. Over the course of the day, I have developed that lovely agglomeration of blisters on my bottom lip.

Does anyone have some good treatments? And most importantly, can anyone give some comfort about how long it takes for the cold sore to heal for them?

My long distance boyfriend is coming in 6 days (next Tuesday) so this couldn’t be any worse. Really do hope it’ll start healing before then 😭
