Yeast infection I think

I’ve been experiencing really bad itching down there for the past few days.. it’s literally unbearable. I’m going to the doctors tomorrow. I would get monistat but I want to make sure it’s a yeast infection, I had Bv in the past and it felt similar to what I’m experiencing now. It’s definitely not an std or sti since me and my partner practice safe sex. This feels terrible 😩
