Scoliosis operation & birth?

Hi guys, I would love to know the stories behind having scoliosis and giving birth? Do you have to have a c section or can you do it naturally?

My friend has scoliosis. She was 36, had an epidural, and an otherwise natural birth. She said she woukd do it again.

I have scoliosis also but it didn't effect me in labor with my son! They had to prick me with the epidural a few times before they got the right spot lol but no complications other than that. Definitely getting an epidural again.

I have scoliosis and denied the surgery option.. also I am declining to have a epidural due to the many stories about being poked several times with the needle.. I wish you the best of luck

Because of the operation you can't bend your spine? Or don't know if you can during birth?

I have scoliosis with a rod halfway down my spine. I had my baby 3 yrs ago and got an epidural with no problems and plan to get it again. It didn't really make a difference.
