Which formula?

FTM and planning to formula feed. How did you choose which formula to start your baby on? Not sure what’s best or where to start!

I did my research on which is usually tolerated best, which has the best nutrition, best costs, all that jazz. We were gifted some of the high end Similac, and my baby all but refused it. It was so foamy when we shook it up and he constantly was uncomfortable spitting up bubbles. We ended up going with the Target version of Enfamil gentlease. Way less foamy, has the nutrition I wanted, cost effective, comes in decent sized containers. However, not every formula will work for every baby, so this is just my experience. 😊 Whatever you decide to try I recommend trying smaller containers before going all in with the big ones in case it doesn’t work.

We had to start at the hospital with supplemental formula feedings so we just used the same stuff the hospital started her on.

Our pediatrician gave us a ton of samples of Enfamil ones, so we just started with that because it was free 😂 We round the gentle formula worked better for his little tummy
