Anyone sleep train their baby yet?

Question

If so, what method did you use? How did it go? And did you keep the pacifier?.. 
Thinking of doing modified Ferber method but I'm nervous. Baby is 18 weeks old. 
He's not sleeping well at night and I think that's my own fault 😑

Tonight was it first night in her crib with no swaddle and no holding to get to sleep. A lot of new things tonight for our baby girl but she is doing great. She put herself to sleep which I never thought she would be able to do. She has been in there for an hour so far sound asleep. wish us luck!!! I am having a little trouble with her not being next to me but we had to pull the band aid off at some point.

My son is 19 weeks old and he’s a terrible sleeper. He’s been terrible since we got home from the hospital. I’ve never tried sleep training yet and hates his crib. :(
I’ve done the worst and let him sleep on his tummy (this week) and I’ve gotten more sleep than I have in a while!! He has excellent neck control and he has been rolling from tummy to back for weeks now. I honestly think it has something to do with his reflexes. When he’s on his back or side then his arms flail around and jerk him awake, when he’s on his tummy he’s more secured. (He only likes his love to dream swaddle- so we got him the 50/50 transition one)

From 6 weeks we would wrap baby, feed him then put him to sleep and as he was asleep put him in his cot for night time, as he’s gotten older we would increase the amount of ‘awakeness’ he was until about 10 weeks we would put him in there awake then sit with him until he fell asleep. He’s 17 weeks now and we do the same method of wrap (in a sleeping bag), feed, bed and he goes to sleep within 5 mins. Sometimes we have to stay with him if he’s fussy and tries pulling his dummy out but other times I’ll put him down in bed, go for a wee and when I come back he’s already asleep. As for dummy use, he gets it when he lays in bed and after 10/15 mins of sleep he spits it out and stays asleep.

We did modified Ferber method around 13-14 weeks old and it worked really well. We started it in his normal sleep environment then moved into the crib. It was more difficult with the crib cause he was also having to transition out of swaddling.

I'm doing a modified fade out method. I started by keeping him awake thru his bedtime bottle. I would just cuddle him to sleep(or rock-whatever works for you). Once he was good with that I would just hold him-no rocking,bouncing or patting. Next we moved to me laying with him/snuggling on my bed followed by my just laying next to him patting his butt. Then we started laying him in the crib almost asleep and patting his butt. We haven't made it further than that yet but next ill just stand next to the crib then hopefully just lay him down and go. He regressed a bit due to having the stomach flu over the weekend but last night I got him to fall asleep in his crib by patting. It did take 3 attempts tho. This way takes a ton of time and patience but I refuse to allow him to cry.
