First it was there and now it’s not

Went in for my first ultrasound at what should have been 7w2d. Found a good looking yolk sac and fetal pole that measured 6w1d. Doctor wasn’t concerned as I could have ovulated/implanted later. Went back 9 days later at again what would have been 7w3d and my gestational sac was completely empty. No yolk sac. No fetal pole. Doctor said both were absorbed. I didn’t even know that was a thing.

Has anyone had this happen and had a successful next pregnancy?
