Need to start loosing some weight

I have NEVER been encouraged/motivated to loose my “baby weight”. My son is now 2.5 years old. And would like to start before we plan to get pregnant again, maybe that way it’ll help me be more motivated once I do give birth to that baby? 🤷🏼‍♀️ but also to keep me motivated that I wish I had with my son now! Lon story short, I’m lazy as hell and I don’t want to keep being like this. I want to be active for his sake and my health. I already deal with health concerns that can affect my weight, if I don’t take the medications.

So, what is your go to abs and thighs workout for at home no gym (can’t afford that!) and any other workout to help tone.

What advice would you give to keep motivated?

Thank you!! ☺️

Squats, glute bridge, fire hydrants + alternatives 🍑🍑 get yourself resistance loop bands, you'll thank me later. Hold the band under one knee for the fire hydrants, it's advice I wish I knew from the start! Use your little one as a weight!I go to the park to do abs - hanging on the monkey bars and doing leg raises and air walking. It's the most effective! If you can't hang; do stay away from crunches and sit-ups, they are actually harmful - instead try and lift your legs up to contract those muscles. Planking is good too. Oh and big tip! You can't stretch enough! Make sure you do, it actually speeds up the progress!😊 I hope this gives you a few pointers to help! Good luck!

I love yoga. It's not high intensity and low impact but still makes me feel good and keeps my body tone. I watch Yoga With Adrienne on youtube. She's quirky and has a ton of videos for every stage, some long some short, you can find what you need for everyday. I would also recommend doing a couple different types of workouts so you stay motivated and not get bored. I love yoga but dome days it just doesn't excite me. Those days i'll work on cardio and do a couple fast circuit workouts or go for a jog. Pace yourself. Start with 3 and then 4 times a week. Sometimes when we go to hard right away we just crash and burn.
