Mini fridge in bedroom/nursery?

Question

Has anyone considered getting a mini fridge in their nursery or bedroom for postpartum/convenience? 
My house has three floors and the top floor is the bedrooms and going all the way down two flights of stairs to the kitchen at night for snacks and drinks while breastfeeding, etc. doesnt sound practical. I know we would also use it to store breastmilk too when I start pumping since we have a bottle warmer upstairs. 
My grandparents have a mini fridge they can give us but I just want to know if it's more unnecessary and a hassle than useful. I worry about it leaking/attracting bugs in the summer time. 
Did anyone else do this or consider this?

I did after I had a Csection. You’re limited how many times a day you can do stairs. I even had a microwave sitting on top of it 😂 no shame. I used the shit out of them. Between snacks, heating up compresses for my boobs and putting pumped milk away I could have never survived without it upstairs. I pretty much lived upstairs the first few weeks. And it was nice to have that upstairs and feel sorta independent and not have to ask people to run up/down the steps for me.

I did, I only have one flight of stairs but going up and down for snacks (especially with other littles) made my bleeding last a lot longer and just wore me out.

I literally just bought one today! the side my girl is not feeding on leaks so much milk into the bra cup I use at night.. but bc it's so late and I try to just nurse put her back down and go to sleep, I always let it go to waste! So we got this tiny 40$ fridge just so I can keep that extra milk!

I have a snack drawer in my bedside table 😂
But for milk I have ice packs that I can refreeze daily to put into a bag that keeps pumped milk cool so I can do this through the night when I pump and it came with my medela pump lol. But if you can swing getting a mini fridge I think it would be cool so you have fresh water or cold food and can store more milk through the night if you need.

We put one in our nursery about a week after our baby was born. We use it mainly to store bottled breast milk for overnight feedings and to put my milk if I pump while I’m upstairs. I’ll prob stash some drinks in there for myself too since I’m always thirsty. We just got a small one that fits in the closet. Highly recommend.
