Trigger warning ...It is possible or am I just hoping they are wrong

pregnancy was confirmed at 5 weeks from doc (dont scans until 12 weeks in my country)So I should be 10 weeks today...yesterday I started spotting..hospital did urine test and it came bk negative they did no furyher checks and I was sent on my merry way.. bleeding got bit heavier today that it was coming out onto pads not filling them entirely...but now it has eased off

Am I just hoping the hospital is wrong or is my mc only lasting the day or is it just a period ...
