We’re expecting a baby boy and just can not agree on a name. I just don’t love any of them and the ones I kind of like my husband hates.

We finally found one name I actually really liked: Philip. It just sounds right, like my daughters name did when we came across it. But I hate the nick name Phil! At first I thought I could just be really insistent on only calling him Philip (although maybe that’s a crazy thing to expect) but now my husband is saying he would definitely call him Phil all the time because he loves it.

I’m like pleeeease we finally like a name can’t you just promise to never call him Phil 🤢!

Am I being crazy? Should I get over the nickname and go with Philip? Do I just need to come to terms with the fact everyone will call him Phil? And did I mention we have been through seriously every name ever and this is the only one we’ve agreed on??
