I have been diagnosed with IU. The second time in 3 days I went to L&D with contractions. They gave me another shot and put me on Procardia. It is a blood pressure medication that will help stop the contractions. I have to check my BP everytime I need to take it so I got a little BP cuff. I now have an 18% chance of having the baby early but it isn't a huge difference than if I didnt have it. Just letting you ladies know what it is. They are like Braxton hicks but stronger and more frequent. They start about 12 apart and quickly move to 2.5 minutes. Scared the crap out of my co-workers this morning who made a big fuss about it.
