6oz at 2 months old?

Hi mamas. My babe is 2 months old tomorrow. Should I try to give him 6oz to see if he’ll sleep longer or do you think that is to much?

I dont like that info at all. I've never known a 2 month old to only have 5 feedings a day. That seems like way too little. And 6 to 8 oz seems excessive. Also in my experience (4 kids) none of my kids slept through the night at 2 months old. Maybe sometimes but mostly still woke every 4 to 6 hours to eat

my LO is 2 months and feeds 5x per day, 5ozof breast milk during the day and formula before bed. it works for him; he sleeps 5-6 hrs at night, has plenty of wet diapers and is gaining weight.

My 4 month old just now started being able to drink a full 6oz at a time

My lo was sleeping 8/9 hours at 9weeks and was only drinking 3/4oz at a time. He didn’t start eating 6oz until 4 months. Trying to feed your little one more than what they are “asking” for is more likely to make them spit up and hurt their belly than make them sleep longer.

Is he breast or formula fed? If I gave bottles to my breastfed babies they never took more than four ounces at a time, even as they got older.
