How much is enough?

Question

So I keep worrying that I don’t have enough NB baby clothes.... I know it depends on the baby but a lot of the clothes I buy is from Carters & their NB sizes usually go from 6-9lbs. This is whatever I didn’t pack in my hospital bag.
Overall I have: 
I have 6 onsies
2 sleeper gowns
4 sleepers 
1 going home outfit 
1 pair of pants

My son was in newborn for a few months. It really just depends on your baby. I ended up not having enough newborn clothes because everyone told me they barely wear newborn. This time I’m stocked up

Honestly, babies grow really fast and barely stay in NB clothes. With my daughter she wore nb for maybe 2 weeks and switched right to 0-3 months. I realized how much I’d wasted on nb clothes cause she never got to wear the majority. And if you think about it, babies can gain weight fairly quickly as well. I had a 6lb baby and she got to 9 lbs pretty fast. Same goes for diapers, they don’t stick to nb’s long. With this second baby, I didn’t get any nb clothes I’m just going to use the ones we got as gifts because I know he’ll grow fairly quickly out of them in a heartbeat.

Not sure you live (weather purposes) but I would say that's fine. You could add a few more pants but honestly my daughter lived in her sleepers and onesies for the first few weeks. Just know you might be doing laundry every few days but once you know the baby's size it's easier to see what you need.
