Measuring ahead?

So I went to my appointment Wednesday and they told me I’m not 29 weeks that I’m 31 weeks. What does that mean?..

I was measuring ahead as well but my due dates were still the same, nothing changed for me.

Answer

It’s considered normal to measure within 2cm of your weeks. So at 29 weeks anything 27-31 would be “normal”. If you measure consistently 3 or more centimeters more than your corresponding weeks they may order a growth scan.
