af being weird ?

so in april 2018 i got my mirena iud removed. got my period at the end of april on time like usual. (has af the entire time i had the iud) in may regular 25 day cycle normal period. come june my period went from 6 days into 5 days and as every month went by it slowly started to just kinda stop. by august my period was a max of 3 days. first day spotting, second day bleeding, third day spotting. by november it was just one day of spotting. i got pregnant at the end of november but miscarried in december. (natural) and bled for 6 days. period came on a 28 day cycle for january and it was 6 days then came at the end of january beginning of february for another 6 days 28 day cycle again.

my period is due february 25th. we stopped actively ttc this month caus it’s just been really crazy. at 9dpo i had tinted pink on the toilet paper when i wiped so i figured af came early and put a tampon in, i pulled it out to a massive amount of ewcm and one dot of red. put a new tampon in and again when taking it out same thing with the discharge except i had one dot of brown. we had sex that same night and still nothing. could it just have been a spotting episode ? we used the pull out method up until last night
