Disappointed and confused

Is it normal to not conceive the first month? Especially when you have had 2 pregnancies and even a miscarriage that didn’t take but a month to get pregnant? Granted I was in my 20s and now I’m 34. Discouraged. AF showed up with a vengeance this morning. 😢
