I was at home, playing soccer with my friend. Thankfully she had already started so it wasn't that bad and she gave me a pad until my mom got home.

It was summer, it was a Saturday (I remember that because we used to have half day  school and the uniform that I wore, we had a different uniform for Saturday's) and on my way to school, I had been having back ache for few days, but I didn't know it was because of that... But I got lucky, for some reason (I don't remember what, it was back in 1999, I was 13 then) the school got closed, I was back to home, it was then that I realised what had happened...

At home and during the summer but because it was so irregular at first the first day of school I bleed through the white dress I was wearing. So embarrassing I didn’t want to go back the next day.

I was at home and it was literally a minute after my mom drove off on a trip. So I didn’t know what to do. I was 11 so I had to tell my dad who is grossed out by that kind of stuff.  He gave me a $20 bill and drove me to the store and sat in the car while I tried to figure out what to buy by myself. It was not ideal haha.
