Just found this out and thought it was funny

when I was a baby I almost died of RSV in the middle of a snow storm where all the roads were closed. So while the ambulance was on its way to our house (we lived 40 minutes away from the nearest hospital) I quit breathing. My mom was freaking out obviously and had no idea what to do. But my grandpa is a farmer and has delt with similar situations on the farm with cattle, so he comes up and holds me upside down hitting my back as he would with a calf until I started breathing again.

Basically I’m only alive today because my grandpa is a cowboy and knew who to save a calf’s life and applied it to me 😂
