Weight gain and ring sizes

I’ve gained about 45 pounds since getting engaged last year and now my engagement ring is a bit tight. I didn’t think it was as tight as it actually was but it’s really hard to get on/off now. I got my wedding band the same size because I just didn’t think and now I’m struggling with whether or not to pay to resize both since I’m TRYING to lose weight. I’m worried I’ll get them resized and then have to get them resized again.
