Last Tuesday at 34 weeks exactly I was at work and started to have some blurry vision and a strong headache come on out of nowhere. I work in a school so decided to go to the nurses office to have my blood pressure checked to be safe. It was 121/92. So I called my OB and they had me come in after work to check it again and see what the issue was. Went in felt a lot better but blood pressure was even worse. 134/94. They sent me into the hospital to be monitored. I was there for hours getting blood test urine test baby was on the monitor and BP was checked every 15 minutes. Everything came back okay so I got to go home they just wanted me to check my BP at home.

Two days later had an already scheduled appointment with my OB. Blood pressure again was high and it was high at home as well. Mostly my bottom number. Top number would be normal bottom number really high. So as of that day my doctor took me out of work. I have a super stressful job. I work with children with special needs who often get aggressive and they were afraid of that having a lot to do with my BP being high. They ordered a 24 hour urine test to check for protein in my urine.

Yesterday had my appointment showed them my BP's that I took at home all still funky with high bottom numbers so they told me they plan on inducing me between 38-39 weeks due to gestational hypertension. If they do fined protein in my urine then it will most likely be sooner 37 weeks but I can't believe I wasn't expecting to hear that this baby is coming soon then my March 26th due date. I'm so excited to meet my little girl! Hopefully in the next week or two I get my induction date!
