How long to pump each boob?

I’m curious as to how long I should pump my boobs for? I pump for about 5 mins each boob and get 3 oz to 4 oz worth of milk. Should I be pumping at long periods of time or is 5 mins each boob enough time for a pump session ? FTM here

I never pump less than 15 minutes. I have a dual pump, so I pump both breasts for 20 minutes.

I use to pump as long as my baby nursed/I was empty so like 10-20 minutes depending on their age.

I pump ~5 min each side. I usually get 7-8 oz total and that enough for me

I’ve pumped as long as 30 mins but never under 15 mins. It would take me at least 15-20 to empty out. I pumped until I literally had nothing coming out and I hadn’t had a letdown in a couple minutes.

I always pumped until I was empty. I would feed my baby then when he was finished I'd pump until empty then by the time he was ready for food again my boobs were ready again.
