Induced at 37 weeks....other 37 weekers?

I’m being induced next weekend, 37 weeks to the day due to gestational hypertension. Totally not my birth plan & nervous about baby’s health (even though doctors seem more concerned about my well-being as baby is doing great!) Any advice or 37 week delivery reassurances greatly appreciated!

My mother had me right on 37 weeks and I had mild jaundice, requiring incubator time but was discharged fairly quickly. This was 30 years ago, the advancements they’ve made since then should only reassure you that you and your baby will be in good hands 😊. Good luck!

I had my first at 37 weeks due to gestational hypertension. We were discharged 28 hours after birth. No issues. She's a sassy, independent, extremely healthy 2.5 yo now.

My first was born at 40+2, but my nephew was born on his own at 37+3 and he was 8lbs 2.7oz 😂😅

Here’s my 37 weeker (newborn, 6months, and now- she’s 7 😍)! She was born with a bit of jaundice, and didn’t feed too well right away (it took some practice). She also was not a great sleeper for the first 2-3 weeks after birth, but she caught up so quickly! Since around 6 months she’s been ahead in every way and never had any issues at all!

I was induced at 37+2 with it daughter for the same thing.  After 12 hours of cervidil (I was not dilated at all) and 12 hours of pitocin and she was here!  She was perfectly healthy.
