Found out the likely reason for my miscarriage
So I miscarried in June 2018. Went to the doc in November to get on meds for depression and he did a full blood panel on me since I was a new patient. Found out I have hypothyroidism (probably happened after the birth of my first son). He said it’s actually pretty common... and most women who have it think they’re just depressed and tired all the time, so they get on antidepressants and never fix the real underlying issue. When you have hypothyroidism, you’re much much more likely to miscarry if it’s untreated. I had no idea. Anyways, I’m just now getting my levels under control. I wanted to know if y’all think my periods are too irregular (should I see a doc about this)? Or are they fairly normal? Not sure what’s enough to be considered irregular.
