Highlights and curly hair?

I have dark curly hair it took forever to get my curl pattern back and it’s health. But I want and need a change and really want some light highlights such as this photo. Will it make me lose my curl pattern and damage my hair? Before I go and make an appointment.

Just don’t. Lol if you care about your hairs health and have a curly/kinky texture coloring your hair is only taking a step back in your natural journey. Look up hair paint wax. I wanna dye my hair sometimes but my curl health means more to me lol

Maybe henna coloring? Won’t be as damaging and won’t need peroxide or bleach. Although, it may not be able to give you that color.

Bleach would damage your hair, but you can treat it with special shampoo.
