I just have to let it out! I am so excited that I will get to spend more time with my new born! He is 10 weeks old and his dad and I have been debating about me going back to work or not. For the last 9 years I have worked full time and climbed the ladder. I was in a management position and was bread winner of the family. This was a tough decision. But looking at it. I know what is best for me and my family. I asked my full time employer if they were willing to let me go back part time and I was told that that isn’t an option. After 4 years of being loyal to this company I decided to leave. I found a great part time opportunity, great pay and they are even paying 100% of my health insurance! I am so overjoyed to be able to stay with my baby more, instead of having him in daycare 47+ hours a week, he will maybe be there 20 ish hours. I’ll never get this time back with him!
