I can’t believe these two are laying through the winter! I love love love my Jersey Giants! I just have the two hens and a rooster. My rooster is really mild mannered and tame. Though I think I’m going to add one more hen when it warms up a bit. I can’t decide between and barred rock and a buff orphanington. (Since I just want one I’m going to order a full grown hen).

This hen is really friendly she greets me at the gate every single time. Lol have to watch her though she has itchy feet!

I’m getting an egg a per hen daily. I didn’t think they’d lay at all during the winter months. Must be some happy hens!
