Femara for me because clomid did absolutely nothing for me.
I did 3 rounds of clomid and now this is my 2nd round of letrozole also known as fermara. This month on 7.5mg i created 3 follicles. 1 dominant 16mm on my rifht and 2 on my left at 13mm.

I did one round of femara with trigger and it worked. My specialist said she rarely prescribes clomid anymore and femara is her first choice. Femara doesn’t affect your lining like clomid. It doesn’t stay in your system as long, the risk of multiples are lower, and the side effects are milder.

I did two rounds of Clomid 1.5 years ago. The second round messed me up so bad! I bled for 40 (no joke) days, had one round of meds at the two week mark to stop the bleeding. It didn’t. Then went in again around the 35 day mark and had an endometrial biopsy (the worst!) and a stronger medication before it finally stopped. Just did my first round of letrozole, so I’m hoping this will work better!
