Is guilty of doing something they act very defensive towards the situation? Whatever the case might be?

I agree with Steph! It really depends on the person and the situation. 
My example- years ago, a bunch of us were at a party, I rode with 2 friends (a girl and a guy) and my car was parked at the girls house. The guy was way too wasted to drive, so I drove his truck, dropped off my  friend (girl). I told the guy that he could either sleep it off in his truck or crash on my couch til I needed to work and I'd drive us back to my car. He wanted to sleep on my couch, so we went back to my place. We got there, he crashed, I showered, made coffee, watched some TV (there was like 3 hours difference between getting home and working and I knew if I slept is feel worse waking up!) The next day, I was asked if I slept with him. I laughed the first time and said no. I was asked again by someone else, I said no. By the end of the day, I had been asked 8 times. By that point, I was defensive. Not because I was guilty, but because I was sick of being asked or even told that I slept with him! 
That was a very long story, sorry, but definitely situation dependant! ☺️

I guess it depends on the person and what they did. Like in the case of cheating on someone people say they will get defensive if it’s brought up but if they aren’t guilty of cheating they will also get defensive of being accused. But it really depends because if someone is getting accused of something they didn’t do they then it would be normal to get defensive.

Not necessarily. If I were accused of cheating, or stealing, or abuse I would be hyper defensive if the accuser continued needling me and carrying on the accusations. 
I have known people to be very defensive when they’re hiding something, but typically don’t associate with dishonest people anyway. 
If it’s in a relationship and one or the other of you is constantly making unfounded allegations it might be best to cut ties and work on one’s own trust issues separately.

Sometimes. I’ve seen a cheater look me right in my face after I had already caught him & he still lied but remained perfectly calm with a straight face. Some people are slicker than others, really depends.
