So I had a scan 2 weeks ago and was told my baby’s umbilical arteries had low blood flow.

I was given the steroid injections to mature her lungs early incase they need to deliver early.

I returned yesterday (2weeks later)

The sonographer asked if I had high blood pressure? I told him it’s slightly higher then normal for me and queried was he asking because baby’s blood flow is low still he replied yes baby’s blood flow is low still.

He completed the rest of the scan, all seemed ok my little baby is weighing in at 3lb11oz already.

He then said everything looks fine??

This is where I’m confused.

What and how would u other ladies feel if this happened to you?

I’m clearly thinking how can he tell me my baby’s blood flow is low , but then within 5 mins report back that all is ok with baby and blood flow?

I have regular CTG monitoring twice weekly along with scans every 2 weeks.

My next consultant appointment is in 6 days I will be raising my concerns at that appointment.

In the meantime I know my body best and if I’m led to believe something isn’t right I will go straight to the hospital to be checked out.

Any advice or similar experiences to share with me would be highly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my post
