Ladies I posted a few times about a weird looking thing on my leg (ankle) asking what it could be. Well I went to the dermatologist Wednesday and she thought it looked like a bruise at first till I told her how long it was there about two years) (got bigger) When I told her that she looked at her helper and said we need to check her for this and that all I remember is saying test me for lupus and some other words I didn’t catch. Well she told me that she needed to do a biopsy on it. So she did a punch biopsy and gave me one stitch. I am going to be getting my results in two weeks fingers crossed it’s nothing bad. 🤞🏼😫

Update: March 4 th

Just got a call from my dermatologist office she said they have the results and they will explain everything on the 6th. She also told me that they want to do bloodwork when I’m there and that they will send a prescription cream to CVS for it. Don’t know how I’ll apply it with the stitches. Then I think she got confused she said let me ask her when she wants to do talk to you today if it’s that important some shit like that. She said I’ll call you back to let you know what she says. So let’s see if they would want to see me today or my original date (March 6).

Late Update: I went to see the dermatologist and they said that the test came back saying it’s something called “interface dermatitis”. But they want to pinpoint what it actually is and make sure it’s not lupus if not lupus it could also be something called “Pigmented purpuric dermatosis” but they want to do bloodwork in 5 weeks. She prescribed me a cream I guess to see if it goes away (maybe?). She had it to another cream but decided to switch it up last minute. She said the rash might be hard to get rid of. So honestly I’m not even sure what it is yet.

Update: they wanted me to go back in 34 days but they called and want me in earlier for testing. Scared it’s something bad and that’s why they want me to go before my appointment.
