So I have an 18 month old boy and have done some EC inconsistently since he was 7 months old, we’ve been diaper free for about a month (including nights) and in the last week he has started to take himself to the potty without being asked when he has to do #2!!!! (To the point were he just had a poop in his potty in the lounge room and then came into the bedroom where I was and sat on me with a dirty bottom 🤦‍♀️) We are still bare bottom at home as he isn’t able to pull his pants down well enough yet but just this huge step forward gives me hope! We struggle with wee’s still and I’ve cleaned up what feels like a million messes in this process but this progress he is finally making just makes me feel like it’s all been worth it! Woohoo for toilet training before September!!!! Had to share with you ladies because I’m so excited and my family are not very supportive of any parenting decision I make 🤷‍♀️
