Tonsillitis🤒

I just wanted to make a post incase any of you had any tips on how to get better, or even how long tonsillitis lasts. I’ve had it for about 4/5 days now and I’m in agony but I’d prefer not to take antibiotics as I know you can get over it yourself without needing to take them. Even if I was to take them I can’t get to my doctors till Monday as it’s with my university and I can’t contact them on weekends.

Any kind of help or advice would be greatly appreciated x
